We are approaching 70 this year for me. I fall constantly, but on purpose and in a controlled roll. Let me explain. My 60 kg dog has dragged me into the mud several times in the past few months. I'm a bit bruised and sore, but fine. Why? I practice, and I am fit. Tumbling-play with a dog in a park is great practice, even for the elderly (in great shape). I also cook almost all of the food for everyone in the family. I make sure we all eat well, and in the right portions of nutrients. My point is this, there little fear of a fall if you are prepared and in good shape, in weight and otherwise.
